About

Welcome to Me.

Greetings! If you've reached this page, you're curious to hear a little bit more about Me, and our Origin Story. Well, I'm happy to help guide you. It's a pretty long story, so to make a long story short, I've split it up into chapters. Feel free to skip around. Just don't get too dizzy. The two of us? We've got a lot of uplifting, incredible stuff to do.

Part I
The Luckiest Kid on
Earth

scroll

When I was a kid, my parents gave me a diary. They said I could be whatever I wanted to be. And I had a wonderful dream—what if I could achieve world peace, just by being me?

Now, I know, this is a pretty wild and crazy dream. So, if it's OK with you, I'd like to bring you back to July 14. This is three decades ago. I'd just had the best birthday party EVER—you know, confetti, balloons, lots of cake and ice cream. After the party ended, I leapt onto my bed, and under those glow-in-the dark stars pasted on my ceiling, I started contemplating the universe.

So who was I?

I like to think I was the happiest, luckiest kid on Earth. Growing up with a Dad who worked for Disney, and a Mom who traveled across the country to pursue a dream of acting, I had a lot of things gifted to me. I grew up in a house upon a hill, that seemed like a castle. On my royal meadow, surrounded by paper birches, pencil cypresses and penstemons, best-friend jay-jays, hummingbirds, squirrels and mockingbirds, my parents called me "The Doodle." I ran and played every day. I loved sitting at my desk, scribbling and making up stories. Putting together puzzles. Every day was a breathless, joy-filled, incredible day.

The Missing Piece

But something still gnawed at my belly, as I dreamed and doodled away.

It felt like I was missing something. Like the universe was trying to tell me something, and the lines were all crossed, and I couldn't understand a word it was saying. Even when my puzzle was complete, it felt like there was still a missing piece, that could end up completing everything.

Now, I don't

It felt like I was missing something. Like the universe was trying to tell me something, and the lines were all crossed, and I couldn't understand a word it was saying. Even when my puzzle was complete, it felt like there was still a missing piece, that could end up completing everything.
